During the design phase on westfield blossoms, they were asked to collaborate with a volunteer group made up of 20 differing opinions, in addition to working with the building owners. After meeting with the group, their original design proposal changed significantly. We never felt that they objected to any of the proposed changes. We always felt like we were all working together on it. In fact, after being selected for our project, they spent a lot of time learning the history of the community. Chris and Jon came back with a proposal that knocked the socks off the volunteer group! The Blice-Edwards team met every deadline and came in on budget. They were always pleasant to work with and even opened their studios to a film team who produced a short documentary on the project. The team was and is very professional and pleasant to work with. I give them my highest recommendation.

Christel House has enjoyed a relationship with Chris, Jon and their firm since 2014.  Their passion and commitment to helping underprivileged children is unwavering and our organization has come to appreciate and value these two men on many levels. Their Contribution have been numerous, but one particularly stands out. Chris and Jon designed and led the building-sized “Love for the Children” mural project at Christel Academy West.  Over 100 Eli Lilly employee volunteers painted the mural as part of Lilly Day of Service.  Chris and Jon guided the entire effort, demonstrating their substantial creative skills, coupled with organizational and logistics expertise.  In addition to the artworks at West, Chris and Jon painted a LOVE mural at Christel House Mexico and provided students at both Christel House South and West with hand-painted picnic tables. Each project has been completed in a timely manner and with regular process updates provided to staff. In addition to their personal artistry, Chris and Jon continually to seek innovative ways to bring out the best artistic talents of our students.  Their latest effort includes conceiving and organizing a Christel House art show that will allow student artists to showcase their budding talents. Simply put, these two rare spirits to exemplify the words of Winston Churchill who so aptly stated. “we make a living by what we get. We make life by what we give”

Chris and Jon painted our master bedroom area (very high ceilings) in a Venetian plaster finish--absolutely beautiful! Everyone who sees it immediately touches it and asks how it was done because they are fascinated by the fact that it looks textured but is super smooth to touch. They also painted big flowers (silver on silver) in our guest suite which is beautiful as well. I loved working with them and would do so again. In addition to being talented, they are very nice gentlemen to work with.

By all reports the outcome is wonderful! Thanks so very much for your good work, attention to detail and sensitivity to our operations and residents. It was just about as painless as any renovation process could be. Our Operations group is getting back into the flow of things today.
